[This Day] History was made last night when the Recording Academy, the body that organises the Grammy Awards, honoured music legends at the Special Merit Awards ceremony. Nigeria's own music legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, was among the honorees and is the first African to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Grammys.
