[This Day] On first encounter with Hector Nnamdi Udoka's body of work, one--if not carried away too quickly by wonder--finds oneself absorbed by the enthralling nourishment of ancient Uli draughtsmanship and devotion. And why not? Udoka is, and he knows it, a fast-rising modern harbinger of Igbo cosmology and ancestry in visual art.
